WELCOMING SPRINGFIELD TO THE WAYS OF JESUS,

ONE LIFE AT A TIME...

Find us each week at PVCA: 965 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA.

SUNDAY (9.13.2026) @ 10am

"UNIQUE KINGDOM ASSIGNMENTS"

The incredible news of Jesus Christ wasn't meant to be carried forward by a church staff. Read Acts 9, and you'll quickly discover that the incredible news of Jesus Christ - that he came, lived, died, rose again, and is still alive changing lives today - wasn't just carried forth by Saul (later renamed "Paul"). It was carried forth by a host of people, some of whom we don't even know by name.

Nothing has changed.

The design of the spread of the Gospel (the "Good News" about Jesus) is not that a pastor, preacher, or church staff carry it forward. The design was that everyone who calls Jesus rescuer and leader do this. But is this what the church actually does?

Join us at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy (PVCA) this Sunday at 10am!

On Sundays, we meet at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy, located at 965 Plumtree Road in Springfield at 10am.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS COMING SUNDAY.

HOUSE CHURCH: YOU WANT TO GROW? YOU'VE GOTTA GO!

If you've never been part of a House Church, it needs to become part of your routine. Why?

House church is where you can be directly loved by others, led to what it means to follow Jesus more closely,

and held accountable to the life that Jesus promises us. It's also the place people grew most in the New Testament.

What's more, House Churches are not small groups. They're CHURCHES, with an identified, equipped, and

empowered pastor who is there to lead, help, counsel, and guide.

NORMAL HC MEETING TIMES:

HOUSE CHURCH #1: Thursdays, 6:15pm (Dinner Provided) @ 1375 South Branch Parkway, Springfield, MA.

HOUSE CHURCH #2: HC2 will be restarting later in the fall, in October.

LATEST MESSAGE: "Unique Kingdom Assignments" (Sean Thomé 9.13.2026)

What if the church was never meant to be a place where a few professionals carry the mission while everyone else watches from the seats? Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to outsource our faith—to hand the work of discipleship, ministry, compassion, and courage to a paid church employee who distributes religious goods and services on behalf of the congregation. But open Acts 9, and a very different picture comes roaring to life. Yes, Saul will one day become the world-famous Apostle Paul. But before that happens, the story turns on the obedience of ordinary people: Ananias stepping into risk, Barnabas opening a door, disciples welcoming a former enemy, believers carrying the mission forward. The chapter asks a searching question: what might God do when everyday followers of Jesus stop spectating and start saying yes?

In this message, special guest Sean Thomé invites us to rediscover the kind of church we see in Acts 9—not a crowd gathered around a gifted few, but a Spirit-empowered people ready to move. The expansion of the Kingdom of Jesus was never meant to be delegated, delayed, or reserved for someone with a title. It is an invitation placed in front of all of us: to notice where God is working, to take the next step of obedience, and to live each day as someone sent. What if the next chapter of the story depends, in part, on your simple yes?

WE ALL WANT TO CHANGE, but few know how.

People are changing here at The Gathering, because they're loved, led, and held liable to live like Jesus did.

THIS HAPPENS IN HOUSE CHURCH.

HOUSE CHURCH RETURN ON THURDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 6, 2026 at 6:15pm.
