What has happened to accountability in our society? Whether its the judicial system, the behavior of kids in school, employees who keep their job in spite of being terrible, or a host of other things, it seems like accountability has gone out the window.
But as things break down in society, and as it pays for this breakdown, for the follower of Jesus, things are different.
This Sunday, September 6th, we'll explore the beautiful borders that Jesus gave his followers - borders that assured a life of accountability that gives blessing instead of consequence.

If you've never been part of a House Church, it needs to become part of your routine. Why?
House church is where you can be directly loved by others, led to what it means to follow Jesus more closely,
and held accountable to the life that Jesus promises us. It's also the place people grew most in the New Testament.
What's more, House Churches are not small groups. They're CHURCHES, with an identified, equipped, and
empowered pastor who is there to lead, help, counsel, and guide.

Something has shifted—and we can all feel it. The ground beneath our shared sense of right and wrong feels less steady than it once did. Convictions that used to feel common, dependable, and clear have been questioned, weakened, or quietly abandoned. And one of the things that once helped hold us together—accountability—now often feels like a relic from another time. We see it in the courts, in classrooms, in workplaces, and in everyday life: consequences no longer seem as certain as they once were.
But what if the breakdown around us is also an invitation? What if, in a culture that is losing its boundaries, Jesus offers something better than restriction—something that leads to life? For the follower of Jesus, God-given borders are not barriers to freedom; they are pathways to safety, wisdom, and abundance.
WE ALL WANT TO CHANGE, but few know how.
People are changing here at The Gathering, because they're loved, led, and held liable to live like Jesus did.
